On most websites this page gives you a couple
of paragraphs on how the company meets the dictionary definition of
a great dealership. Though we could do this, I felt that it
would be better to tell you about us, who we are, and what we do.
Too often individuals walk into a dealership to be greeted by a
salesperson with no experience and a complete lack of understanding
about the industry. You will not find this at M&M Watersports.
We are one of the oldest standing boat dealership in Utah, the
recipient of the 2007 and 2008 Centurion Dealer of the Year Award, and the recipient of
the 5-Star Service Rating Award for the 5 years in a row. If
you want to know why we are the most knowledgeable towboat dealer around
then I suggest you get to know our team.

Riding Stance: Goofy.
Favorite Watersport: I love skiing, but I seem to be
spending a lot of time on a surfboard now.
Greatest Watersports Accomplishment: Probably finishing
in the top 10 in the Western Region Barefoot tournament, and also
running a boat dealership for almost 20 years.
If You Didn't Own a Boat Dealership What Would You Do:
I'm not quite sure, but it would probably have something to do with
the outdoors; I just don't think I could have a desk job. |

Favorite Lake: Lake Powell with
my friends and family.
Best Part of Running a Business: I would have to say being
able to meet lots of great people. We met many of our very good
friends because of our business.
Worst Part of Running a Business: It makes me feel old
to think we've been in business for almost 20 years. |

Favorite Food: Sushi or Cafe' Rio
- I have pork barbacoa running through my veins
Greatest Watersports Accomplishment: Finishing 3rd in
the National Barefoot Championships. I would also add my first
time landing a toeside wake jump on a wakeboard - that was awesome!
Favorite Trick: Wakeboarding - anything with a tailgrab,
wakesurfing - backside 360. |

Accomplishments: Being certified
by Indmar, PCM and Mercruiser and being the recipient of the 5-Star
Service Award for more years than any other service department in
the country. Our department was also selected to work directly
with engineering at Mercruiser to develop a high altitude motor
configuration.
Anything Else? Well, since you asked. I developed
the Perfect Pass module integration for the Merc 8.1L Engine,
something they stated could not be done.
Favorite Vacation Spot: That's a secret. If I told
you, I'd have to kill you. |

How are Online Sales for BoardCo these Days?:
They are absolutely killing it right now! With free
shipping, purchase incentives, no sales tax for out of state
customers and much more why would anyone want to go anywhere else to
get their gear?
Favorite Time on the Water: Wakesurfing with Drew Danielo,
that guy is absolutely insane!
What Have You Been Riding Recently?: I like to mix it
up with a number of different surf boards. The Drew Danielo
Carbon board and Inland Surfer Sweet Spot are my two favorites right
now. |

Anytime I am out there with my wife, daughter and friends is a good
time for me.
Favorite Thing to do on the Lake: I used to love ripping
it on a wakeboard, but wakesurfing is about the only thing I ever do
anymore.

Best Experience on the Water: Riding with the pros down in
Florida a few years back. We took a trip in the middle of
February to get away from the cold - one of the best ideas ever!

the amateur division at the World Wakesurfing Championships.

pop-shuvits, so I would have to say those.

Favorite Non-watersports Activity: Playing guitar, singing
and just about anything else dealing with music.
Best Wakesurfing Moment: Getting run over by a tube while
doing some filming. It really hurt, but makes for a good story,
and I can laugh at it now. |

Biggest Watersports Accomplishments:
Winning the World Wakesurfing Championships 4 times, winning the
Hippodrome (a really awesome wakeskate competition), and competing
in the Byerly Toe Jam Tour this past year.
Board(s) of Choice: I think I am obligated to say the
Phase 5 Drew Danielo Pro Model. Seriously though, it is
awesome!
Favorite Trick: Well I landed an alley-oop to surface
backside 720 at the last M&M photo shoot. Word on the street
is that they are calling it "the Widowmaker", I have no idea why. |

Watersports Experience: Uhhh... Wow... Let's see.
I was a coach for the World Wakeboard Center, coach at the Projects
Wakeboard Camp, Achieved the "Every Month on the Water"
certification at Jordanelle Reservoir, Semi-pro Regional Team Rider
for Slingshot, won a few wakeboard competitions both locally and
nationally, was "Jake" the intern for Alliance Wakeboard Magazine and I have the largest skiboard/skurfer/wakeboard movie
collection in... well... I know the state but possibly bigger -
maybe the whole country. I have over 100, let's just say that.
Umm... that's impressive... I guess: Yup, I am a diagnosed
raging wakeaholic.
Funnest Wakeboard Trick: Pretend to be Peter Pan while
riding. |
